Remove aftermarket cruise control

Toyota truck 1987 auto trans, It has an aftermarket cruise control. Are they complicated to remove and go back to the factory settings? What should I expect? Where should I start?

Why? Presumably, you don't have factory cruise control, so all you need to do is not use your aftermarket model. It's not like the weight is going to affect your gas mileage.

But if you're determined to remove it, I'd suggest you take a few photos of the actuator and how it's hooked to the throttle body. Someone might know the exact unit you have.

ive removed a few and the only thing that was weird was that they all had a custom linkage for where it ties into the throttle body and i had to find an oem one.
