rebuilt W-56 question?

After a lot of transmission problems, I finally have a sweet rebuilt tranny with all new parts. I have about 500 miles on it. I am running gl-4 with half a quart of syncromech. Should I change out the oil to get rid of the rebuild crud/assembly grease?

just don't fill it with just power punch it is a real bugger to shift gears when it is cold out until it warms up(about 10 miles) my brother did this in his datsun and we live 50 miles from town.
