rear window won't move
HELP! i know the rear windows on 1st gens have notoriously been bad for not working. i have never had a problem with mine in the 5 years i've had my truck. suddenly, it won't budge. i checked the circuit breaker, it appears to be set properly. the rear windshield wiper works, and is in the properly seated position when i try the window. i played with the window lock button also. did it finally (and suddenly) give up the ghost, or is there something else i should try?
i really REALLY need to use the trunk area today, within the next few hours. if anyone can help. . . . . .

Did you accidentally press the window lock button on your console?
Determine whether you are getting power to the rear window by seeing if your lights dim. If so, open up the tailgate. See if anything is obstructing the window. If it isn't dimming, you probably have an electrical short.
This might give you some ideas with regards to the inner workings of the window. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f166...runner-137310/
At last resort, hotwire the motor as outlined in the article.

Yes, there is 2 screws in the seat belt trim where it comes out of the wall. Then just pull the panel off (it has christmas tree clips, try not ruining them coming out). once you have the panel peeled back, you can't miss it. I put a pm into dirttoyboy for one for myself. He has everything.
Mine started squeeling and finally died in the matter of an hour. junk electronics.

You can replace the relays for about $10. Read the article. Don't bother with a new control module, as its probably equally burned out. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f166...runner-137310/
