The other day I was rolling down my rear window and my friend decided it was a good idea to "help" it down by pushing on it. Afterword, the rear window wouldnt go down all the way and stuck up by about 1cm or so from the rubber seals; also the tailgate lock wouldn't come up all the way and it was very difficult to open the latch. Today the latch wouldnt even allow the tailgate to open. The window does still go up and down however, though down still isnt all the way leaving the 1cm as stated before. What to do?

 

I bet the "rail" that the wheels slide in was rusted, and pushing on the glass popped one of the wheels os the scissors arm out of one of the tracks

Only way to tell is to remove the inner panel(s), the rain liner, and take a look see.

 

Second that. Good time to clean and lubricate anyway.
