Rear suspension

Well i have a 87 pickup and the rear leaf springs about had it looking to replace then and not spend a ton of money was wondering if any one had a suggestion i found some pro comp springs for cheap but they are a 4 in lift and dont no if that is to much without lifting the front so if ne one has a ideas that would be great...

make sure those springs bolt up, you might need to remount the spring mount. (if thats a big deal) and 4 inches is definitely enough to make you wish you'd lifted the front.

I just lifted my rear with Downey 2" springs and WabFab 5" shackles. and its a nice setup IMO.

Dont forget shocks too.

220 for springs
85 for shackles
80 for shocks
___ for hardwear

worth it.

I just used a shackle kit from Autozone for $15. The back doesn't sag anymore and looks great. I just used the very last hole in the shackle. I probably need to get some longer shocks in the back now, though (speed bumps are a little rough). Normal driving is great.
