Rear spring recommendations
Might need new rear springs according to my mech.
Considering I have a cap (fiberglass),
99.9% of my driving is on-road,
rarely haul anything (but wouldn't mind a spring that enabled carrying more if need be),
would need them to compliment the Bilstiens,
and wouldn't mind leveling out the truck.....
what would you guys recommend?
I've done a couple searches and OMEs seem to be a good deal and a decent price.
Thank you!

I have the OME Heavy Duty's with Bilstein HD's. I run a cap in the Fall, Winter & Spring and I take it off in the Summer (I usually do a few landscaping runs - a half yard of this, a yard of that, etc. in the Summer plus I just like having the cap off in the Summer b/c it makes the truck "funner" if that makes sense). This combination handles very well onroad, albeit you do get a little more feedback because of the Bilsteins but I don't notice it anymore as I've gotten used to it. But quite honestly you couldn't ask for a better spring and shock combo for hauling bigger loads, and controlling the bigger loads in a safe manner. These springs ride like a dream with a few hundred pounds or more in the bed. The shocks severely reduce sway.
For the what you've described, I'd run the OME Medium Duties. You'll get a very nice ride out of them and you should easily handle the trucks maximum payload with those Springs (1400 pounds). I calculated that with me, and a buddy, plus mini-concrete mixer, and concrete, I had the truck hauling 2950 pounds a few weeks ago for a short trip. The springs were still half an inch off the bump stops which blew me away all things considered. Another time I had about 1800 pounds in the truck including myself (myself plus some demo brick about a month and a half ago). It handled very well and was about an inch off the bump stops or so.
So yeah, I think the medium duties should do you proud.
