i don't know what you are talking abou infiltrator...i have the PP 1" lift progressive springs, for over 20,000kms they have stayed at their ride height of when i first installed, just look at my before and after pics! i spent money on proper 1" springs, if you buy no name or cheap brads, YES they will return to stock height. duh...

Well, got the springs & Bilsteins in there today, took about 3 - 3 & 1/2 hours. The truck was lifted 3'' exactly, from 2' 9'' to the bottom of the wheel well before to 3' even after. A little higher than I wanted but after I get new tires & remove the running boards it'll look a little better, plus now I can actually carry a little gear in the back without bottoming out lol.

I took a before & after shot ( well the wife did, I'm not allowed to touch her camera for fear I'll have the urge to give it more power ) As soon as we get the pics onto my P/C I'll stick a couple on here.

In the after shot you can see the 2x4 has a gray mark, that's the 2' 9" mark where it sat stock, the board was exactly 3' long so no mark was needed & I just stood it up against the wheel....I know it looks like the board is under the wheel well lifting it up but it isn't.


Now I need to take off the running boards, get new tires, put on my new pads & rotors, lube my spindle bushings & slap in some ARB's!

This will probably sit a little better. The picture was without the spare tire on a 1/4 tank of gas & nothing in the cargo area. Once the spare was put in, kids in the back, full tank of gas, camping gear etc. it will probably be just about perfect. Maybe a tad high but not so much that it bothers me, once I get new tires & get the running boards off I may tweak up the T-bars a little; I'll just have to wait & see how it goes.

Are you happy where its at or are you going to lift the front a little? I'd say BJ spacers will help level it plus you can relax the torsion bars a little and get a better ride. I personally like the way it looks now. Mine sits the same with the back a little high but I'm 1.5" higher than you.

Shock shop has some airshocks that would work, they are gabriel P/N=39511
You would have to take out the bushings and insert poly bushings drilled to accept your pins.

I'm not really sure what I'm going to do yet in all honesty. I just took the running boards off (did I mention that already?) & am in bad need of new tires. The tires I want are Yokohama Geolander M/T plus but no one around here can seem to get them., I need to rebuild my front rotors & do a brake job too & even though I have the parts to do it, I'm waiting on a pair of Aisin hubs I bought from a guy on here & I also want to look into the spindle bushing & see if it needs replaced. As far as T-Bars, I was looking into a pair of OME's to replace my stock bars. I think the 25mm & 26mm might be too stiff for me. And the work will go on etc. etc. ad nauseum.

If I end up doing a Total Chaos long travel IFS kit then there's no need to waste the money on BJ spacers, new CV's etc. I have a lot of work yet to do before I decide what the final outcome is gonna be.

Yeah the ride is better but I'm not really going to notice the difference until I load it down. It's still on a 1/4 tank of gas even lol

Well, now that I have the new tires on there they rub a little at full steer left or right. I haven't had a chance to see what they're rubbing on.....sounds like the plastic splash guard. I had the 31x10.5's put back on there so no size increase on that. Thinking of putting a 1" BJ spacer kit on it but my front shocks aren't that old (1 year) & new shocks would add to the install cost if they were needed.

I figured it would be a good time to do it if I'm going to since I just got all new front end parts from arm_can; a seller on e-Bay and will have the entire front end apart in a few days. I might even add some OME torsion bars.....still up in the air about what to do. Much more reading & figuring in my head & decisions lol
