Rear mounted fuel tank on 88 4runner?

Just wondering if anyone has or knows someone who has figured out a way to mount a fuel tank in the place of the original spare tire without a body lift... any help is much appreciated

I remember, a few years back, that some people were getting (I believe) early '80's Econoline van gas tanks, and putting them between the rear framerails. I think a few guys on here did it, I would search thru the "classic" threads......they are prolly there.
