Rear end leaking real bad.

Dunno why it started.

Just changed the oil, and it decided to start leaking. weird.

Anyways, its getting worse so i need to fix it quick style.

Is it a gasket back there or just a silicone seal?

Where abouts is it leaking from? where the driveshaft flange is at front or did you pull the cover to drain it?or do you have drain plugs?

The leak is at the bottom of the housing, on the front side.

Definitely not the drain plug...

Try snugging up the nuts (19 ft.lbs) on the differential flange where it attaches to the axle housing.

Mine is leaking there too. I changed the seal around the yoke a year ago, but the metal yoke has a groove in it from riding on that seal for so many years. I gotta buy a new yoke/seal. If i remember the price from the dealer wasn't THAT bad. Like under $100 for sure.
