Rear driveshaft came apart, how to align when putting back together?

I was removing my rear drive shaft when it came apart into two pieces. Now I'm not sure how to align the 'teeth' when putting them back together. Is there a guide somewhere to do this? Thanks greatly.

The FSM gives advice based on the direction the grease fittings point. (Which seems to include the "phasing" of which millball speaks.)

Thanks, that's very helpful. So I just eyeball the alignment? If I'm off by a tooth or two, will I have drive shaft vibration / problems?

There aren't that many splines around the circumference. You should be able to just lay it out on a flat surface and get it exactly right with a little care. No real excuse to be off a tooth or two. Just take your time.

That's encouraging -- I will eyeball my best. Thanks!
