Tight as I can get it with a 1/2 breaker bar.

If the flange was loose before, and now its tight you've likely tightened it past the original stake. This is OK. Tighten to about 130 fp if you can and restake the nut wherever it is.

You did pull the flange and replace the seal dincha??

Play is gone. Drove it around the block and it felt good. No noise. Deflector in still lose though. Leak is also gone.

Deflector mght simply press back on. Never would have been a better time to replace the seal, but if it doesn't leak, you are golden.

Might last long time,, Good luck.

It way to big. Warped under stress probably. Should have taken the flange out but wasn't sure if I'd get it back together and working properly if I did. I have no FTV/ FIPG at the moment so I'm just waiting till after the weekend to order more part and supplies. Maybe some tools also. And recommendations would be helpful. I'll keep the thread updated and let everyone know how long my rear diff holds up
