Rear dent repair

Rear dent repair
How can I repair this rear dent? I have done bodywork on side dents, but never in the corner. What is the best approach? Spot weld or making holes and pulling?

I can't really tell how wrinkled it is but if you can find one of those "Paintless Dent Removal" guys I bet he could get it most of the way back to normal. These guys come around to the used car lots around here and the remove the dent from the inside with a heated rod. I watched a couple of times, pretty neat.

It wont come out easy, whomever does the fix will pound it back in shape as best as possible but it may not look right. Cover that area with some kind of primer at least, its gonna rust sooner or later.

Try removing the tail light or an interior panel. The key is to get behind the dent - Then get a cheap dinging hammer and pop it out.
If getting behind the dent isn't feasible you will have to drill a small hole at the deepest spot in the dent. Then use a slide type dent puller to remove the dent.
Sand it down, primer it over, and rattle can it with some paint that looks close. Clear coat afterwards.
I got my first body work experience a couple weeks back popping a dent out of the bed the PO left me. PO's blow.

depending on your situation you have three choices
1)try and get behind it and bang it out with a ball peen, then sand it bondo it, primer it, and paint it
2)weld a couple small rods to it, then hook up a slide hammer, and try that way, then cut off the rods, and grind it down, sand it, bondo it, primer, paint
3)go really cheap, and just sand it and bondo the hell out of it, dont use cheap bondo, use the good gold class stuff, its better...
your best bet is to try and get behind it, but its gonna be tuff
