I need to replace my rear coils (what else is new for a 4runner?). I can figure out just about anything mechanical, but I really haven't done much automotive work, so I need some help....

Here's some info... I got this 4runner about 1 year ago. I do NOT have a lift. I replaced front and rear shocks with same size as factory...

So anyway.... what do you guys recommend for decent coils? I've heard of the Moog coils, and I like the price (less than $90 delivered) - but is that the best way to go?
This is my hunting truck, but also my daily driver.... I don't do a lot of hauling (it IS a 4runner!), but sometimes I pick around a few hundred pounds of animal feed and grain.....

Also, just to make sure I understand.... if I decide to do a lift later, will I need to replace my shocks and springs, too?

I have a 91 4Runner and I bought my rear coils from ToyTec. They gave me a 2 1/2 - 3 inch lift. There are also others on this forum that sells parts, Wabbit is the only one that comes to mind right now.

I put the Moog progressive rate springs on my truck and am really happy with the result. I had read that these springs are in line with what Toyota should have spec'd when they came out with the 2nd gens, and agree with that. They lifted the rear end back to level, and have a firm but comfortable ride.

I'll just put my 2 cents in about the Moog coil springs. I like what they did for the rear height and got rid of the sag, they were cost effective, they seem to ride okay, but I don't know what kind of crap paint/powder coat they put on them. Within a couple months the entire coil was rusting to high hell. I live in Montana also and its not really too bad for rust. I don't think its affecting functionality, but I expected better. The stock springs I removed were rust free after 17 years. Additionally, Moog's customer service sucks. They never return emails and when I called, it seemed helpful until I got bumped to a voicemail and never received a reply about the warranty. I gave up and would not buy them again. I think their quality has slipped drastically, at least in this case.
