rear brakes?

ok....i just replaced front rotors and pads and also replaced rear drums and shoes....my problem is i am still getting a bad vibration when braking shakes the truck bad...not pulling right or left. i know it's in the rear drums because if i pull the emergency brake it does the same thing...but i don't know what else to do?? any ideas?? It seems to be out of round but like i said it has new drums and shoes does not seem to be pushing the shoes out evenly and i get a lunge as i am stopping. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

wheel bearings? or bent axle, or unbalanced tires. swap the axle with another and hope the problem goes away

I would check the balance on the tires. That sounds like it might be your problem.

I'm going with out of round drums. They need to be checked with a run-out gauge or machined to get them back into round.

Just because they're new doesn't mean they're round. Even leaving them sitting upright for a while can create problems.

jack up the rear and put it in gear (2wd). Look at whats going on with the tire/wheel and if they look good have someone apply the brakes slowly and watch and listen.
