rear axle prolem!!

rear axle prolem!!

i blew one onf the main bearings in the rear axle, i was wondering if a axle out of a 96 tacoma would fit in it, mainly cause i want the factory locker.
if anyone has any sugestions let me know!!

when asking if something will fit your truck, if you can somehow find a way to tell us about your truck... that will make it a lot easier.

I think the Tacoma axle is wider than the 4Runner/ truck axle. The factory open diff is 8.4". The E-locker is 8.0" and will retrofit into any pre-1995.5 axle with some modifications.

Basically, you might need to re-position the spring perches. Or just buy a new bearing, then retrofit an e-locker into it.
