Rear Axle interchange for 95 4Runner SR5

Looking for a little help. What i thought was just an axle seal turned out to be complete rear wheel bearing failure. (Never made noise, just started puking some gear oil but the bearing tearing apart) While I get the parts to replace it, I am trying to get an axle/spindle/brake as an assembly to slap in there to keep the truck on the road. This is the first I've had to take it apart. Pulled the axle and such. Mine is a 95 4x4 with ABS and 4.56 gear ratio.

I know they are specific to ABS vs non. Does the diff need to match or are 4x4 axles the same? Just trying to make sure I dont but the part twice. If anyone has any leads on parts near NW Pennsylvania, let me know.

Bump - or the other question is if I can just install a non ABS axle and drive it short term?

I am under the impression that the ABS sensor is in the center of the axle housing. I am unaware of any differences in the axle shaft/bearing/brake, but this doesn't mean that there isn't any. I think all '86 - '95 assemblies are the same, 4 cylinder and V6. Am I wrong?

I guess I'm wrong. car-part.com breaks it down like so:

That's the break down I saw. Car-part interchange only lists 94 and 95 4runners as compatible, but I know from working on Subarus that they are usually limited by matching part numbers and not just fit. ABS rear axle shafts have a toothed ring inside the shaft from the bearing for the ABS sensor. But I don't need ABS - just want the truck back on the road. So if I can slap a non ABS axle in there and drive, I'd be happy. Didn't know if anyone had done it before. These trucks are often cobbled together from multiple trucks so i'm sure someone has tried.

google - you are up by Erie - too far from Philly (I have a pair of somewhat rusty - but complete shafts and drums - for free)

I would have assumed that the actual axle shaft lengths are the same (4x4 that is)

I would, like you, think I could stuff a non ABS axle in there as a "franken axle"
