Haven't found any sellers with the older style counter gear. There has to be someone out there selling a used one on ebay or something.

 

Would love to find one too. My thought is find a wrecker in Australia with a Dyna truck with the correct transmission this gear was found in and buy the transmission. But that is not practical.

I’m looking forward on getting this mod for my father’s land cruiser, it’s a 1hdt powered 100 series from 1998. Here in Paraguay this truck is very popular but people never modify them, all of them are bone stock and last forever. Just wanted to make sure if I’m ordering the right parts since they will probably have to be shipped from the other side of the world or something similar lol

its a 1998 h151f with 400k km on it, never rebuilt. My father owns this truck since it’s 0km and now it wants to be able to go as fast as a hilux or similar models on the highway ( 150-160 km/h) and this will definitively ease a lot of pressure from the engine since right now that speed is around de 4k rpm range levels and 25-28liters/100km range. Would also be nice to cruise around at 100km/h in 2k rpm.

Will start teardown of the gearbox once i have all the spares here and will definitively post pics

none, I have my trans buttoned up, but rest of the truck is still under the knife.
