well on a excursion with the wheelin club i belong to my 89 yota finally met its match the frame broke at the leaf spring not too bad possible fix but to top that off she caught fire an hour after that so I no longer have a yota to play with but maybe ill get another one in the future
she was a good truck RIP

Sorry about the bad news, I know if that happened to me i would be really upset.

I hate to sound heartless, but did you take some pics, I didnt know that frames could just break, you must have had a lot of rust or something. Were you able to save anything off of it?

Sorry to hear about the truck. Just how did it catch fire?? I'm a little puzzled by it's combustion...

well it shorted out in the fuse box in the location for the parking lights taillights and what not I will snap some shots to show where the brake in the frame is but for now i can tell you it is located on the passenger side leafspring hanger front hanger ripped right out of the frame Ive been told thhat it is a common thing for yotas and nissans but ive never seen it brake there
I live in Brunswick Maine to answer the other question.
