im wrapping up my 22re install,and notice there was a single black wire on the alt. harness. i know the 2 goes to the alt, but i dont remeber unhooking the 3rd one.

Is it a ground? its cut, so no clip or splade on it.

I think the third grounds to the chassis.

 

if i remember right it grounds to the botom bolt on the alt.
