quick help with drum brake

my dumb ass friend was checking my brakes in the back and took the drum cover off and he must have put it back on wrong, cause i noticed that the brake is hanging up now on the one he pulled. is there a right and wrong way to put those back on? thanks.

Well, after re-installing the drum, you should always re-adjust the shoes (by rotating the adjustor wheel through the small opening in the drum backing plate). The shoes should be adjusted so that they are just barely (almost not) touching the drum. I adjust it so that I can feel a bit of turning resistance, then turn it back one or two notches.
