I wouldn't think you would have any trouble at all holding 5th with a 3VZE and that tire/gear combo. With my 5.29's and 36's, I can run 5th from 45 up to a whole lot faster than I actually want to go and I have the 22RE...

5.29's and 36" tires is almost identical to the stock gearing combination. My speedo is .5 miles per hour slow at 55mph on GPS. Besides the extra sprung weight my truck doesn't even know it isn't still pushing 28's.

Well, power issues are a little more exaggerated with an extra 0 on the elevation in CO compared to FL... and even with your bigger tires, I bet my rig weighs several hundred more pounds than yours...
