question on a 91 4runner

v6 4x4 5spd. i bought this 4runner and the guy i bought it off of re did the heads and gaskets. theres a tad of water getting into the oil. now he tells me the problem is the round part on the left side on the engine block he calls it there oil cooler thats getting water. the coolant suppose to cool down the oil. ok soits a round thing with a bolt in the middle. anyone know the name or heard of this problem? thanks

It's called the oil cooler. But, sometimes it's called that round thing with a bolt in the middle.

Possible solution........

ok now i took it to a second shop and they pointed out to me that some of the bolts wernt on the intake. the shop is gonna get some bolts for it in the junk yard for me and im hopeing the ones that are missing arent stripped on the intake.

the 3.0 v6 is prone to head/head gasket issues.

yup the heads just got done too before i bought it less than 200 miles on the rebuilt heads. the guy still thought water was getting into the water. but i heard you have to change the oil a few times after doing a head job to get most of the water out. so he ripped the intake back off and just left it like that so i bought it had it put back together since the heads held compression still but when i had the intake put back on they didnt put all the bolts back in im alittle ticked since a second opinion shop pointed it out to me. the first mechanic told me there was air getting into the heads turns out he didnt put every bolt back in for the intake.
