Question on 63" Chevy Spring Swap
I just got my chevies in yesterday. they're awesome but, my driveshaft is vibrating pretty good. currently it is just a stock 89 with my chevies and no other lift. has anybody put in a pinion shim to correct the angle? if so, where did you get them and how much of an angle?
also, does anybody know if it makes a difference which way the lengths to the center pin are? for instance should the 30 3/4" be going from center pin to the rear of the truck or to the front of the truck?

Have you looked in the Pirate chevy swap FAQ?
Are you running a cv in the rear?
You can use shims or drop the crossmember. Dropping the crossmember would be a quick way to find out if the problem is angle related or balance related. Some pics of your angles might help

Apology for the newbie comment, but, I don't believe it is a CV style driveshaft. It is just my stock driveshaft. How would lowering my crossmember take care of the driveshaft vibration?

Measure the driveshaft angles and it is easy to make a shim to correct the angle if needed:

As far as orientation, the military wrapped spring eye goes into the forward frame mount.
