I have a 1995 DLX pickup, 4X4, with the 3.0 V6. My CEL came on the other say...and I determined it has code 52 locked in it. I have read a lot about the knock sensor...I read some where that someone by-passed the connector on the pig tail and soldered the wire....I would like to try that...can someone tell me where the pigtail comes out from under the intake and connects to the harness?

 

Yes, the pigtail connects to the harness below the air intake chamber, not the intake manifold.

I just got a code 52 as well, I am very displeased because the knock sensor is brand new and my harness checked out fine. I will be contacting the rebuild shop about the knock sensor. To get to the knock sensor, it is a bit more work.
