Promar Engine Rebuilders

Does anyone have any experience with Promar Engine Rebuilders in NJ? They have a 3.0 long block rebuild w/3yr unlimited mileage and free shipping for $2799. Sounds like a decent deal, but just want some more info.

That sounds like $1000 too much.
If you live in a resonably sized town, you should be able to have your 3.0 rebuilt iwth new parts for around $1800.

That is way to high. Here are two places I am looking into for my 3.0

http://www.orientengine.com/

http://www.jer-us.com/

I heard that orient is has been pretty good. They are $200 higher but seem to have slightly better warranty. I havent heard of anyone getting anything from jer. So i'll probably pay the extra $200 and just get the orient. good luck

Some of the people here report that Orient Engines does good remans and stand behind their warranty well. I have consulting with them via email.

They'll rebuild your motor for you if your are willing to wait a few weeks, plus shipping.

I see that they now offer a full line of Crate Engines and Custom Engines. Any thoughts on whether it may be worthwhile?
