Problems starting

Hi, my 86 Pickup w/ 22R engine has a problem starting when it is cold outside. It starts usually pretty quickly when it is warm outside. It just clicks, I can hear it click each time I turn the key but it takes a lot of tries till I finally get her to turn over at all. Whats going on here?

your battery could be getting weak from the cold, but its probably a combination of the battery and starter contacts

I checked the contacts, they all seem good, the connects arent corroded at all and the battery couldnt be more than a year and a half old but I was kind of thinking maybe the battery although it reads good when its just been running for awhile. I am going to take the battery out and have it tested tomorrow cold, hopefully it reads bad
