Pro Comp Shock question...
Ive searched and read through some different threads about this but didnt' really get a good direct answer. I am going to be lifting my truck with the 1.5" BJ spacer and the 1.5" OME901HD's soon this summer in about a month, but my stock shocks suck something awful. So i was wondering if the 0-1" shocks would be fine to get now and still be ok when i lift my truck??? thanks for you help...they are ES3000's if that helps any

i used all-pro's 1.5" hd springs and got the pro comp es9000's that are 0-1" over stock. i like the shocks. i have noticed that i dont have as much rear axle articulation as some of the pictures i have seen on here. this may be because i still have my sway bar on though. the coils and shocks made my runner ride and look a lot better.
the only thing i've noticed is that at the top of the shock piston (above the point where the shock doesnt go any farther into the shock body on compression) is rusted. does anybody know how to get rid of the rust? its more of a looks issue than anything else.
