Power steering pump question
Just a quick question regarding the 1991 3VZE power steering pump. There are 2 vacuum hoses that go into the bottom of the pump through a plastic/brass fitting (the one that breaks if you forget about it when removing the pump Just wondered if it matters which hose goes to which side. Thanks guys.

Pretty sure it doesnt matter. Put it back together and if its screwed up, then put em the other way
I think its the idle up function... mine doesnt idle up though hehe
I almost lost those stupid vacuum lines when I swapped my pump out.. what a pita!!

Nope, shouldn't matter which hose goes where. It's simply a valve that is supposed to open when you pull pressure from the steering pump and the vacuum hoses are supposed to cause the idle of the engine to raise.
