Power Steering Gearbox Leak around Adjusting Screw. Can I....

Hey Fellas,
Right to the point I will be. Leaking (and I mean bad leak that will deplete reservoir in 30 minutes) around Adjusting Screw on top of gearbox. Can see it oozing out from underneath seal washer right where it contacts End Cover.

Can I fix this without removing and tearing down gearbox? I see from service manual that there is a fairly large O-Ring underneath End Cover of gearbox and if fluid is seeping around that o-ring then I feel I have to remove and dismantle.

Any suggestions or remedies to approach this?

Thanks in advance,

t-craw

Problem was a loose adjusting screw/locknut assy. Weeks ago while replacing pitman arm, idler arm and tie rods, the pitman arm received some impacts while pulling it with Pitman Arm Puller. Evidently those impacts loosened up Adjusting Screw/Locknut just enough that over a period of two weeks, vibration caused it to back off and loosen more allowing fluid to pass between End Cover and Seal Washer on top of gearbox. Could rotate locknut and adjusting screw with fingers.

Now shes tight and I did'nt have to remove anything but 1 bolt that held coolant overflow reservoir.
