Talking power steering gear box interchange

My 94 pickup 3,0 v6 4wd steering gear box has a real bad leak coming from the seal from the area where the pitman arm connects to. I got a another one from a 92 4runner 3.0 v6 they loo the same but the one from the 4runner has a bleeder screw and the other one has none. So im wondering if i can change it out and will it be the same? I know they are rebuild kits for it but i get the other one for free. Thanks in advance!

Maybe one is a revised design or different from abs to non abs. My 94 with abs doesn't have a bleeder. I'd try it. If it bolts on and the plumbing is the same the I see no reason it wouldn't work. If it were me I'd bolt it on a role with it

Where are you finding your rebuild kits? I'm about to have to rebuild my 91 steering.

Rock Auto has repair kits for $9-12. I have never used one myself.
