Front Suspension & Firewall trim Questions

Got pictures? Looking for any feedback on steering with your Blazeland LT. Did you got a bigger T-Bar? Thanks bro.

No build thread and I haven't had it offroad yet to test the flex. So far the la is great. It's a lot smoother than before and the steering is nice and tight. There isn't any wobble from the tires and steering wheel doesn't shake at all. I do have larger tbars and I used 3" spacers out back until I can afford a bigger rear end. I just started driving the truck again after it sitting for 2 years so I'm working out some other bugs before I hit any trails.

This is my first Toyota and loving it so far. Planning on flat decking it and making a canvas canopy as my box is pretty rusted and its hard to find a replacement for the long bed.

1988 toyota xtracab 3.0 V6 5 Speed Manual. absolutely love this truck and I have just purchased it!

new tires coming soon and hopefully a new bumper!

Does anyone know how good these trucks will do fuel wise with a sled on the deck?

I have a 2009 Arctic Cat M8 153"

My 3.0, 5 speed I was getting around 17mpg if I recall right. If I was doing city driving, I think my mileage dropped down to around 14mgp.

My New Pickup

Have just purchased a 1994 pickup 2wd xtra cab dlx and am having a ball with it. Just under 92,000 miles and no problems that I know of......... Ignorance is Bliss.....Hah...
I want to do some tasteful upgrades and am looking to this forum for advice and inspiration..... As my retired money permits, I will be doing the following;
1. Paint on the cheap at Econo paints.... Lot of sun fade so needed. Dark Green orig color but Want to add extra metallic flakes to make it pop?
2. Already purchased larger rims and moderate tires based on advice about Discount tire and was happy dealing with them.....
3. Have purchased toy-o-tec 2" lift kit....with No directions included????
4. Need help to purchase longer shocks...toytec said go to NAPA with longer measurement....?? Hopefully someone on forum will have advice. Truck is a Road queen with hopefully short trail excursions so tires are 225/65rx16's. Maybe originals will work? Want to keep Soft or long travel ride..... Just found a thread where the Rancho shocks may be suitable for me with a soft ride and longer bodys....Great forum...
5. Engine mods will be Denso Platinum plugs, K&N type cold air, and 2.25" exhaust system from manifold back, and synthetic oil....
6. Hopefully will be pulling this with my "Newer" 1995 Holiday Rambler MH so I will need a Driveshaft disconnect since it is an Automatic. Anyone have experience with that modification?

This is how she sits now. Blazeland longarm, addicted offroad front bumper, 4xinnovations rear bumper, and a soft topper. I just got it back from having the la kit put on.

Don't mind the cheap tire on the back. I just got it back from the alignment shop and 1 tire was toast. I wasn't paying 340 for another goodyear and they couldn't get the tires i want till next week.
If you don't mind me asking, what's your suspension setup?
I'm really thinking about doing the Blazeland kit too, but want to know what others have done with theirs (both front and rear).

Hey all, new here finally rolling my "86" out of storage to take home to my new larger garage. I bought it last year when I was building a new house first Toyota pickup for me but have owned different Toyota cars from the 70's, 80's, 90's & 00's. The body is in great shape & runs well with 245,xxx miles. Plan on keeping it stock & just bought some original re-painted 15 wheels from this gen.
