Post Your Pics!!!
Other then that it looks like a good ride. What engine you got
Engine is a 22RE. Runs like a top and was rebuilt about a year ago.
Got some real wheeling today finally! Ran Charouleau Gap. Last time I did this trail I had problems all over the place. This time it was a cakewalk thanks to the locker and chevys. The only problem we had was the confidence of a driver in his brand new 2013 Tacoma...guess he didn't want to scratch it...whats up with that?!

managed to straighten out that rear bumper coming down off of a few rocks...time to build up some real bumpers.

New truck
This is my first yota and id like to see what i can do to it on a pretty tight budget. 1992 sr5. automatic and has the open diff 4.556. any helpful hints and tips would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Welcome to Yotatech. Kelsey I think a first would definitely be to know what you pla. To use the truck for? Do you plan to offroad it with Bruno? and If you do I recommend getting at least a good pair of rock sliders. I've seen too many rigs get scraped on the bottom side and cave in their doors. Even with mine as it sits now with my 4" lift and 33's it still scratches. If it weren't for rock sliders I'm sure I'd definitely have some damage.
If you're going to lift it and eventually plan to do a straight axle swap... Whether you do SAS the truck or not it will help to have the proper gears to ride with whatever tires you choose. If you choose to go for 33's, run 5.29's, for sure. Also a locker in the rear at least. You can get through quite a bit of stuff with just that one locker in the rear, trust me. A mild lift, decent tires to get your axles off the ground, and gears and a locker, primarily locker... You would be shocked at the amount of stuff you can get through, with gears and a locker, with enough experience behind the wheel. As my buddy Richard said, once you start getting into that stuff, you are definitely going to want to get some armor, quick! Mainly because you will be pushing it a little further, each modification you do . Before you decide to dump a thousand dollars on the front and rear bumper, and certainly before you spend a few hundred on the skid plate for the IFS, think long and hard as to whether you want to convert it to straight axle. Many people, including myself, say they don't THINK they would ever do it(maybe, but not likely)... Well, I'm living proof that's not the case in the end once you have Toyotaticulitus! Lol...

^REDBAY...What factory options does your truck have on it? I'm fully convinced mine is a rare one. I have or had a/c, tilt steering, heated back glass, cruise, deck lamp, sr5 seats, wiper delay, and i'm sure i'm missing some other stuff.
