Post Your Pics!!!
StewsRunner, Sorry, man.
Nice!
Brandon & guys,
I'm considering htaking my top off and leaving at body shop for painting while I keep on driving the truck. When you take off the top for the first time after so many years, has anybody found any problem with the rubber seal? Cracking, drying, falling apart, sticking and tearing in some parts? Has anybody tried any kind of rubber conditioner/protectant?
TIA

I was afraid of the exact same thing because as far as I know this is the first time that the top has been off of mine and the seals all looked great. I am yet to put it back on, but I do intend on cleaning all of the seals before I do. The very bottom of the seal that runs along the top of the cab seems as though it could be peeling up a little bit, but nothing that a little super glue couldn't help. I just figure it'll stay put when I put the top back on.

I condition my seals with this http://www.detailedimage.com/Einszet...474/100-ml-S1/
My top was removed last year for the first time. After 25 yrs the seals where still in good shape.

Thanks guys! I really am pleased with it, all around!
Ahh.... Could be.. Not sure. Cool PYP find. I would check with a professional as to whether I could tow with that or not if I were you. Just want to be safe. I'm not sure if Adam ever did one that didn't have the corner pieces or the 3/8 plate then DOM cross supports for the hitch tube. you could send him a picture? Either way it's working for you!

Chef, I already had a 3" body on the truck with IFS before I SASed. I know people knock body lifts but I actually don't mind them cuz its easier to get at stuff for one, and I want to put in a SBC 350 in it in the future and probably will need a body lift either way. I was tempted to take it out but It doesn't look disproportionate so I'm going to leave it for now. My first wheeling trip I was very impressed, not tippy or unstable at all, and the truck handles very well, overall very peased. I took my time on the swap and did everything correctly and it came out awesome. it actually rides better than my IFS did by a long shot!
