I wasn't a huge fan of them for the longest time, but then I saw a pic of my mom's yellow '79 yota pickup with the bar and wanted one since. also my family wanted me to get one for the added safety and it matches the bumpers and fits perfect, the guy i got it from had it on an 01 taco and he said it probably wouldn't fit right since in his it was to narrow on the wheel wells (newer wheel wells are a couple inches smaller than the older trucks apparently)

Hello everyone! I just picked this up and I can't wait to start doing things to it...
'95 v6 4runner 5spd. are the manual transmissions uncommon? anyway, glad to have found these forums... it's going to be a lot of help to someone who has no idea where to begin.

the newer years the manuals got weeded out kinda, but on older ones its rare to have automatics. i'd say a good 87% have manuals on here lol. my buddy with the same year as yours had manual she sold it recently tho

my teacher (automotive instructor 15yrs, worked on 4x4 trans tcase and diff for 25yrs prior) told me that. or a spool differential. only if you're not gonna be wheeling a lot, if its a DD with occasional play time its cheaper long run to just get LSD. if its gonna be more play than DD the deff go with lockers

Here's what we got done yesterday.
Forgot to take a picture of this front side once i mounted the steering stablizer. But im very happy i made the choice to SAS, lift, gear and lock. This thing is gonna be a freekin beast!

As of right now the truck is up to about my chest. I am 5'8" and it is still gonna be a bit taller sitting on 33/12.5/15 BFG M/T Tires
