Couple pictures of the Yota from my latest camping trip into the Rocky's.

Unfortunately, these pictures don't really do the spot justice. Front of my truck is just 5ft away from an insane cliff leading to the lake inlet below. That spot has to be the best view of Abram lake I've ever seen.

About to start getting the truck ready for winter Studded winter tires, weigh down the back and get some tint layed down. I plan on driving her through winter, then I think it's time to let someone else enjoy this great truck.

Saw one guy uses a pillow up there on the dash with the camera sunk in a lil(the pillow doesn't obstruct) and it kept it still.... He said it kept the "wind factor" down, too, which I always have problems with while trying to shoot a 'driving video' around here! lol.

Far as the leak... C'MONNNNNNN, that things gonna light on fire, man! lol. Ok, I'm probably exaggerating, true.... but it can't be good, right? lol. Hey, at least it's not a HG, right? Or even PLUGS? LOL.

Chef, thanks for your concern, man. I do want to get this taken care of. I have more then just valve cover gaskets to do so my truck will be out for a couple of days. Just dont know when to do it. I've been extra busy hauling eqiptment since the end of the season is coming, so showing up to the farm without my truck will be like showing up naked.

and as far as a camera holder...idk what to do, i'll think of something thoughh. Or i could just have somebody else hold it when i drive, but i like to ride alone...

Holy cow, Toyo... DERRRRRRRRR is the first thought that comes to mind!(soon after, "why didn't I even think of that????" lol). My mini stand has worked ok, but that seems like it would be the most stable, provide the best perspective!

I wanna mount one under/side of the rig on a couple runs in Havasu, too, ya know? Get the undercarriage action? LOVE those videos! (I know, those set ups are THE SPENSIVEST stuff, but I can think of something, hahaha).

PS> When I Coolpreviewed that link.... the Malwarebytes went wacky! lol. Probably some link within there or something.. YOu got one of those from that site, Toyo?

for under the vehicle mounts, i would get one of these suction cup ones and just modify it so i can use something like hose clamps or exhaust clamps it to something under the truck

hahahha, and thanks for the links afterwards,

I have several table mounts, etc., some that are EXTREMELY durable(IOW, they would be flawless and my camera would be in 200 pieces....THAT kinda durable, lol)... My point is, I could set each leg flat and just duct tape or ratchet strap it to the right part of the truck, then screw it into the top of my Nikon Point and Shoot.... voila! lol. Ok, maybe i need to think it out more, but you get my point, right? I think it would be more stable, possibly, for the undercarriage video? We'll see, wont we? lol

Oh, and the GF is funny, man! lol.

I picked up this 95 about a month ago. Poor lady fell on some hard times and gave it up for $1650. It needed a clutch MC and new windshield. A good bath too. Just got some new meats on it today and snapped a few pics. 32x11.5.

I took a butt shot to help me figure out how I want to clean up back here. Never realized how ugly that exhaust was...
