im pretty sure thats the sending unit from the tank...i had to replace mine too..i also had to replace the gastank cross member support cus it rotted out..rust is really bad over her..when i first got my truck...i didnt have a driver side bed side lol..but my cab and frame and mechanics were good so i replaced everything else with parts from the south and new parts and shes sitting pretty now!

Thanks man, I was getting some tires put on at a local garage and some random guy came up to me and said he used to have a truck just like mine. Then he said he still have the roll bars for sale, I asked how much and he said $50 and it still have lights on it. I bought it as soon as I saw it haha. My wife was sooooo mad.
