Here are s'more pics of the hood, tis dirty but any good wheelin truck should be. I left the red under the hood looking rough to give it the illusion of battle wear, haha. I have thought about painting the trail names on the flag, like the Rebs and the Yanks used to stitch the battles in theirs. Great idea I think. Anyway:

Thanks, glad you like it. I just put the splash guards on today to protect the paint when I off road (I'm OCD) Heres some more pics, the seats are in good condition but I put the seat cover on anyway:

(Sorry one of the pics is sideways)

I like the Alpine CD player ya got there! Unfortuntely I have no tunes in my rig, thats what I get for running without the top and the windows down all the time. Maybe if they ever make a desert-proof car stereo I'll have wheeling tunes again!

Got the truck back to where the big tools are. It will be assessed so see if the motor can be saved or if we have to pull it. Sad sight to see.



Then had to change the pinion seal on the 4runner. This was easier than jacking it up.

That reminds me of an old Hilux leaflet from 1990. You could actually buy it from the dealer like this. Now these options are all illegal here......
