For those in arid climates and have no need for a rear wiper, a Porsche 944 wiper delete plug works really well. I removed the motor and plan on mounting an LED up there. The window switch and key still work as designed.

The design of the plug creates a water tight seal.

I happen to have a parts 944, but the wiper delete plug can be found on ebay.
