Very nice truck indeed !
Here in NH or MA you cannot (or not suppose to) have your tires stick out beyond your fenders...you know why ?
Because it's too cool !!!
Again nice truck very sharp!

the tail lights and front corner markers were done with spray paint, i just painted the front corner lights WAY to thick lol (i plan on redoing it sometime). it can be easily done...just make sure to get paint that sprays a flat line and not a circle. just do a few coats and you will still be able the see the actual lights fine. oh yeah and lightly sand them before you paint.

i purchased the hood scoop from summitracing.com, when i get some extra cash im going to get it molded to the hood and repainted.

as far as the mpg? im not sure? i get about 220 miles on a full tank of gas, but i will find out the actual number and post it.

...and im actually born and raised and attend school in Alabama. when i was in about 4th grade i bought a georgia bulldogs poster at the bookfair cause i thought it looked cool, and ive been a dog fan ever since lol.

THANKS for ALL the comments guys

500???!!!! WOW WOW WOW LOL. i wish i had that. i still have the stock gears, i need to put some new ones in to accommodate for the 33s. maybe that would improve my gas mileage and power.

I'm running 31*10.5s on the stock gears and I get an average of 560kms to a tank 75%/25% hwy/city driving. thats running 2wd every day if I have to use 4wd a lot to get to work like this past week with the snow it drops to about 500 kms to the tank.

560 km's to a tank is pretty good. I've run it to about 550 before about twice but the highest mileage I've actually properly calculated was around 20.3 MPG (miles per US Gallon) if I recall correctly. And that was winter gas, but all highway driving.

use a gps to track your mileage accurately then do the math. the 33's on stock gearing will throw off your speedo. the 3.0 will get decent fuel economy on the highway, i can vouch for aviators numbers as mine will do that on the highway.

its the stop and go of city driving that kills the 3.0 mileage.

He's talking about kilometers

500 km = 310.6849747475 miles, but don't base your mpg off how many miles you are getting to "a tank", you have to do the calculation right. You have to get the miles since your last fill up (use trip-odometer), and the amount of gas it take to fill your rig back up (use gas pump meter). Then divide miles by gallons.

The most I've gotten to a tank was over 320, but I don't try and see how far I can get that often. It will suck up a lot of junk if you always do that.

btw, I've got 31-10.50's, stock gears, 5spd, and I get 17-19mpg on winter gas, and 18- just over 21 on summer gas. I've been getting 17.5 lately, and then for some reason, the last time I filled up I got 19.4?

And yes, city driving kills the 3.0 mileage, and so does using the a/c, right after I installed mine, after playing with it for the first week, my mileage dropped to less than 14mpg

i get about 13 maybe less now that its winter on 31's with stock, hey when did this turn into a gas mpg thread haha!

no seriously smith, you dont need to do anything more to that truck, just drive it and have fun with it. wait till after college for modding and all the other goodies you might have planned.

Nice Truck. I was wondering if u could post a pick of you headers? Also, how much did you pay for them? And don't worry about MPG if we wanted good gas milage we'd drive cars.

usually i get 400-450km per tank (55-60l) (with 33's or 30's)
