I love living in an area where it doesn't snow, and is far from the coast. It makes for very clean trucks. Congratulations. Once you get it built up, you will have one top notch truck for cheap. Hell, you could probably sell it for a profit.

yeah i thought about turning a profit but i figured it being such a steal i might put a little money in it and drive it for a while and see what happens.
would you guys suggest putting lockers in when i regear im not sure if i want to spend the money but i know it will be more if i wait till later??

I couldn't do it, I would find something already beat up to put in a mudhole and drive that baby..I never been able to wrap my brain around spending tons of money making something look so good, then go run off in the deepest mudhole they could find.. that just don't make good walking around sence to me

Nice clean truck, brought back some memories of my '86.
Since you have got the truck in a shop, IMO I would do the locker now. They would basically have to do the same exact work over again $$$ wise. Might as well have them do all the axle bearings too since they will have it pulled apart.

if ur plannin on muddin that purty thing, u need to do the lockers now. lockers and tires are the biggest mods u can possible do for mud. personally, id say lockers are number one. and thats not just mud, thats crawlin and yada yada. however, if ur gonna do it and its ur dd, look towards the expensive end. arb is the best in my opinion, detroit makes a bunch that u might want to look at too though.
