Rundown of some parts

- 87/88 white top for 1st gen 4rnr no cracks complete, red interior mostly complete. drivetrain mostly complete.

- 90 2nd gen 4rnr going quick, i got at it on fri and it was almost complete, but by sat it was missing a fender, and some other doodads that are usually the stuff to go first....all glass good, tailgate good with rear tire hanger on gate -good complete. tail lights good, 3vze missing fan bracket injectors, might make a good short block, A340H complete. dash 25%, drivers seat no good, rest good with headrests. (grey interior) front/rear drivetrain intact good

- 92(ish) excab pickup, 5speed complete, 3vze gone. front hubs gone, 3rd section gone but good axles both sides with houseing, front drivetrain complete. interor gone.

-88 2wd with good bed, no rust, no dents.

about 2 or 3 other misc trucks with rear axles etc.

NO 22re's NO Asians anywere in the yard. NO yota wheels

ill do my best to answer questions from memory. (although i spent the better part of 4 hrs wondering around in it, LOTS of forigns)

 

No Asians ANYWHERE?? Did they take a vacation to their homeland? What is going ON here?!?!?!

On a side note, I wonder if any of those trucks had any Aisin hubs...

 

I'm trying to track down a rear driveshaft for an 88 std. cab longbed MT V6. The weld to weld measurement is 42.5". I'm just not wanting to make a 400 mile round trip, to pay $125+gas for the closest one to me. If you think I can get it for any less than that, let me know.

 

I need the 2nd gen taillights and front corners, if you still got them, and how is the bed or do you still have it? lights shipped to 46118, shoot me a price would ya? thanks

My faimly is there but im in STL. I wasnt feeling adventurous enough to actually pull parts off to sell on the boards... (although i know what parts are always wanted)

figured the next best thing would be to tell others and let them pick them up

 

forgot to add, dont know why i rememberd now at 1:15 in the moring before im about to go to bed....

early 90's supra, with 1fze or fgze or whatever the motor number is.... complete still in the car.

 

I was back down at the pick-n-pull this weekend (will be back next weekend also)

Couple of new trucks and a second 4runner added (now missing a drivers door thanks to me ... btw complete door with mirror, window etc was $60). Both still have there rear tail gates and windows with rear spair tire carriers.

i counted no less than 4 3vze's i the yard and at least 1 22re that was part there with man trans on a 2wd truck....

still no asin hubs to be found but rear axles abound.....

i would have spent more time wandering around but it was DAMN!!!! HOT

 

Was the '88 rust-free bed still there? Damn I missed this thread in March.

they keep an inventory of "carcesses" but wont be able to tell you what parts are out there....

ie they can tell you there are 2 90's 4runners out in the yard... but they will have no idea whats still left on them...

 

i never see any toyotas at any PnP JY around here...i think they all go to specialty toy yards

i was at the one near me today also. i saw 2 2wd's. one with a 20r and one with a 22r. nothing else.

 

my local salvage yard has an almost fully complete 93 runner. i have no idea whats wrong with it. actually, there are 3 2nd gen pickups, 22re, and two first gens, 22re and the runner, 22re. one rusted out t100, no idea whats left on that one...

everything is pricy as ☺☺☺☺ in central PA and there are slim pickings, ill say that much! can you believe i couldnt track down a V6 rear end for my truck withing a 75 mile radius of my home? ended up paying 250 for a G292 2 pinion 4cyl. rear end! ughh. so pricey!

 

i THINK i can walk out with a complete drum to drum rear axle from the trucks (4runner with 4.88) for like $150
