Do you have A/C? On mine the A/C is supposed to drain out a hose in the firewall but the hose was clogged and so the unit filled up with condensation water that couldn't drain out the hose and eventuallyoverflowed onto the floor. When I unclogged the hose a lot of water and crap came out and the carpet stayed dry after that.
Oh yeah the windwhields are notorious for developing a leak on the far passenger top area.
Good luck

The drain hole for the air inlet tunnel isn't designed very well and the pinch weld develops a leak. You have to take off the passenger side fender to get to it, and if it's not rusted out you can smear some sealant in there and it may stop the leak.

You could have a bad seal on the door, or the window/windshield leaks. Or your passengers need to shake their shoes a little better before getting in.

Well, im thinking it has to do with the heater/AC system, because it stays wet even without rain.

Likely a bad AC drain then. could also be holes in the floor.

Look for a rust hole underneath your carpet. A nice hole in your inner fender will get your carpet wet.

Do you use the defrost? Not sure about your's but some a/c compressors operate in the defrost position for the sole purpose of condensing moisture out of the air before it blows on the windscreen.

Otherwise....

If you're out wheelin and have a woman in the passenger seat...
... I'll shut up now.

I don't know how similar they are, but on my T100, there is a tube that is in the middle of the front passenger flooring that drains the A/C unit and goes through the firewall. Somebody at some point kicked it off because there was no hose clamp to keep it on there. My entire passenger side was soaked under the carpet, for who knows how long before I discovered it. I ended up pulling up the carpet and putting an electric heater in there to dry it all out. Thank goodness no mildew, rust or other damage came from that mess.

IK I have an ongoing issue with a soggy pax floor... no rust/hole issues just a constantly wet carpet... has that issue even before I put in the A/C.

Some of our trucks supposedly have an access panel on the inboard side to facilitate servicing the starter motor that can sometimes develop a leak... if you have it just remove it clean it and run a bead of outdoor silicone around it and bolt her back up.If you have one this may solve the problem.

My leak seems to be from around the A/C drain so I'll check that... there was a post in a different thread that mentioned the rubber grommit in the firewall where the drain pokes through sometimes comes out leaving a gap that allows moisture to mist through soaking everything. You might check that as well.

Oh, I just thought of something:

Look where your body mount bolts are inside the cab. They have a little rubber/plastic cap that goes over them, and without them, you can see daylight....so water could be able to get in that way. It's an easy check, and only involves pulling the carpet back to check.

Had the carpet back on mine to dry out more than a few times... I've seen those little rubber caps you speak of and while there was a lot of rust around them before I cleaned them out I could see no daylight... the wettest spot on mine is over the other side by the tranny tunnel so I'm thinking it's the condensate drain(s) from the heater box.

My drivers side does this, only because the PO had a shoddy company install the windshield, so it drips a bit lol

I got a tube of seam sealer and had at the fenderwell. Took the passenger side fender off and found any visible crack and filled it with the sealer. The rubber grommets were loose and cracked too so i squirted it in there too.

Need to dry the carpet out and test it now....
