Parts questions

Could anyone tell me if there is any difference in a 1988 3.0 v6 engine and a 1989 3.0 v6? Reason asking , trying to locate throttle body air intake hose. Can find plenty listed for years 1989-1995 but not 1988.

You have to make one from scratch with a universal kit. If you do not have TIG you can epoxy your curves together. I see kits on ebay all the time, different prices. These trucks are getting old and parts harder and harder to get. So often you have to make your own.
