Parasitic Battery Drain 22re

Alright I've been struggling with my truck for weeks now. I have a 1990 toyota pickup 2wd with a 22re with 4 speed manual. My truck sat for many months because I bought a new car. Now I'm trying to get it running again and it starts up and runs great however when the truck is off the batter drains in a matter of hours. You can watch the voltage drop on the multimeter it's so fast. I pulled every fuse except the 80amp 40 amp and 30 amp fuses under the main box. I know it's got to be from the main fuse box because when I disconnect that main wire that goes to the fuse box the battery stops draining. I also disconnected the starter and it still drains. I'm out of ideas and already have spent to much money on it for other things and I don't want to pay someone else to fix it for me. Any suggestions???? also
it has a brand new battery as of 2 days ago.

since your truck sat for many months the battery likely drained naturally like they all will over time. that's why you need to start your vehicles periodically and let them run for a while to charge the battery back up. if you live in a cold area the battery probably froze when discharged (a charged battery will not freeze unless extremely cold). once your battery has frozen it will never hold a charge properly again. you need to check your battery first off (get it load tested at a parts store or shop). if it is good then proceed looking for a load drawing power. I'm betting your battery is toast.

Sorry, I didn't see the part about a new battery, I guess your stuck looking for the drain. It sounds like you're on the right track though, pulling fuses until the load goes away (hooking a light bulb in series with your battery cable is a great way to do this). most vehicles will make the light glow a little all the time, but with your issue it should be very bright until you disconnect the culprit.

On my '84, one or more of the alternator diodes went wonky and was draining my battery. I went the same route pulling fuses with no change in draw. I put up with it for years, disconnecting the neg terminal when not in use (not my daily driver). It wasn't until I replaced the alternator (started making growling noises) that the parasitic draw disappeared.

I fixed it yesterday and that's exactly what it was. Luckily it was still under warranty and didn't cost me anything to replace it. Thanks for your help!
