So had to grind off the head of the bolt, which meant taking off the shock(biatch).Still nothing,so tried the gear puller.NO.Next I tried a shipload of washers behind the nut and used an impact gun to try and pull it through.Still no.UGH!Now nut is on bolt forever.MAN! So next thing is cut the bolt inside on both sides.HOLY ! So now bar is out, but bolt is still in bushing. Hammer time!
Made my own sleeve and after 3 hrs, all done.

Interesting thread. I have a 94 4Runner with a 4" Superlift. The rear panhard rod is not horizontal. I checked Superlift's site for instructions and it does not say anything about the position of the track bar other than centering the body over the rear tires. My track bar is at 35-40 degrees. Also someone has lengthen it but the instructions do not say to do so. I will take a picture to show you.

Installing bracket

I've installed my ome springs and have a 4 1/8" difference. Its my understanding that the best way to remove the ph bracket is to put weight in the back of the 4runner. Any advice. Also, had alot of sag when I started so I'm not sure what size brake bracket to get. I'm think of getting a 2" bracket. Would that put it back to stock height with the ome spring?

You want to return the panhard bar to a horizontal or near horizontal state. Get the 4 inch drop bracket, it will put you at a 1/8th inch offset, which is perfect.

You can put weight in the back of the truck to connect the panhard bar as a temporary solution, but you will want to get the bracket to get your rear axle back to center.

Good thing you already have torque arm brackets!

Superlift does not mention anything of modifying the panhard rod. Just use the drop bracket which I do not understand. Someone had to lengthen it as well. I think I will just make a stronger and longer drop bracket.

You could make a longer bracket, but since it looks like you already have a 4 inch drop bracket, dropping it another 4 inches would equal an 8 inch drop bracket.

I'd be afraid the leverage of the bracket would bend where it mounts to the frame over time.

I would measure how much you have to move pass. side in and make it a little less than that . to compensate for a load

OLD THREAD POWER UP!
I have 2" OME 900's and 4" panhard drop bracket. My panhard bar is very close to level but pass. side tire sticks out at least an inch. My rear driver quater panel has alittle damage so its kinda of hard to tell but after days of "eyeballing" and measurements its obivous the axle is pushed to the pass. side. When Installing the PH drop backet I had to use a come-a-long to get the bolt holes to line up from bar to bracket. This is why the axle is pushed to the right I think. So today I unbolted the bar completley and shook body side to side to try and get the rear centered over the axle. It made a little difference but rear pass. side tire still sticking out more than driver side. What do I do??? It seems to me if I made the panhard bar a little longer it would center everything perfect. I also got a front end alignment with the PH drop bracket on, Is this why my rear is still crooked with PH bar completley out?? Punch me with some good info!

front alignment will not effect rear. you can make a drop bracket to any size you need or you can get an adjustable bar. look at trans output- driveshaft -rear pinion are they parallel to body ? how close is shaft to tank ?

so making an adjustable bar... What size joints should one use on the ends to mount to the stock location? Does any one know? I don't want to cut and lengthen my stock bar.

The driveshaft and rear pinion are not parallel to the body, and the driveshaft is about 1 1/4" frm gas tank. My panhard bar is completely disconnected and driver side tire sucked into fender well noticeably more than passenger side. If I sleeve PH bar to make it longer, how much longer should it be? I was thinking about 1". I keep reading adj. bar OR PH bar drop bracket. I think I need both. Bracket to bring bar close to level and adjustable/longer PH bar to center axle. Should I use a plum bob to center axle off frame then measure distance from bar and bracket bolt holes to get my bar length?? PLEASE HELP ME

I still need help! COME ON YOTA TECHIES... 2nd gen 4runner, I already have ph bar drop bracket but still need to lengthen panhard bar. What is my best option???
