Panhard Bar Question

Question pertains to a '92 SR5 4Runner.

Can the panhard/trac bar be removed and the truck still be SAFELY rolled/pushed around? Or will even pushing cause it to get out of whack? Any other concerns also welcome.

Thanks.

Mine actually fell off on the diff end once.....I didn't even know till one day I got it out on the highway, and it started to get a bit of a speed wobble. When I got to work and had a look underneath the panhard rod was just hanging there. Not that I would recomend it, it drove fine around town without the panhard rod attached.

I think since the upper links on a 4runner have some kinda triangulation, the rear actually restricts side to side movement, even without the panhard rod.
