Painting the Rollbar?

So, this last holiday weekend (the fourth o' July if you're slow on the uptake) girl_face and space_junk came up from Cali for a visit...

space_junk planted an idear in my head that I've had a hard time shaking...
I want to paint the roll bar in my 88 4runner... Pink.

kind of throwing it out to you kind folks, the old man thinks it's silly, so... majority ruling here will determine whether he gets ignored or not.

I enjoy thwarting him when it comes to my truck though

but I digress, I think it would be a cool way of putting a girl stamp on it without flowery sticker garbage.

I saw one the other day painted to match the paint (red). Looked sweet! I think you should do it, then add pink seat covers, pink fuzzy dice, and a pink furry steering wheel cover.

Your 4runner looks great as is!

Pink will make it look stupid, so I guess I agree with your old man.

come on down to california. I know a place that can powder coat it for ya.

who cares what the mens say. they don't know nothing about style like us womens do.

If you like it, do it. And if you do it, and you end up not liking it, you can always just paint it black again. either way, you will have a nice shiney roll bar.

It would look better with a bikini top on it regardless.

And I guessing you might just happen to know where to buy one bad @$$ bikini top?

DO IT! It's your rig anyway, do what ya want. There's a pink 86-88 yota rollin around where I live. Seen it half a dozen times with the same chick driving it. There's a pink Jeep too. That thing cracks me up. The woman that drives that it is tryin hard to be Barbie with the makeup and all that. Even has the "BARBIE" license plates. I'll try to get a pic if I see that thing again.
