The treadwrights are absolutely awesome! This is my second set. I have driven on multiple 400 miles trips to Ohio and back and they have not let me down. I can give them nothing but praise for making such a good cheap tire

Are they balanced? I have a set of swampers on my 2wd and right now I would like to throw them in the trash. Nothing but vibrations...

Nice looking rig. I have to agree about the TW's, I have beat the mess out of mine and they haven't given me any complaints.

The ones I have vibrate some at highway speeds but I don't mind it much. I think they do that because they werent balanced very well. Other than the slight vibration they are excellence for off-roading, especially for a 2wd truck. Also its fun to sling mud everywhere with them.

Just to put this into a better light I've bought 38's (not going to mention the brand) that were so out of round I had to have them shaved so I could balance them on my Scout II. Don't get me started on the cost...

Tread Wrights are crazy easy to balance. The carcas (spelling??) on mine are Michellins (damn... spelling again??). They balanced out with the heavy being 2.5 ounces on a 31/10.50/15 two of them have no weights on the rim. I've rotated them several times, lifetime balance and rotation from Discount tire, and they wear like iron. I don't know exactly how many miles I have on mine... maybe 20,000 and the still have deep tread and although the sidewalls are cut up there are no leaks. Hell my spare has never been on the ground......

Toss the swampers and order a set of TW's.

treadwright is a company that reuses sidewalls from a name brand tire and puts new tread on it... its "helpful for the environment" most people dont run retreads, and most tire companies wont even mount a retread. so thats why it says BFG on the side of the tire, yet has an unknown tread pattern.

That paint job looks awesome given the method used. Lots of people claim to do this but we never see pictures of it a year later. I would like to know how this holds up.

How much paint did it take for each coat?

So here's a little update. I have had the truck painted for about a month now and it has been outside the entire time, no garages anymore. Since i go to school in the cleveland area the truck has been exposed to lots of salt. Today I took it through a car wash and it held up real nice. About a week ago I went on some side roads and took some pics. This is about 3 weeks after it was painted. Oh and BTW if anyone is interested I am going to JEEPSKOOL this weekend down in Akron OH. If anyone wants to go let me know.
