Oxygen Sensor Interchange

I have a '94 22RE 4wd 5sp, what is the interchangeability of my O2 sensor with other 89 and up pickups. I found a wrecking yard nearby that has about a dozen trucks, and I'm really tryin to save money right now, otherwise I'd buy a new one.

A quick check at Autozone.com showed a different part number from 89 as opposed to 94. You'd have to check each year to see if any are interchangeable. Good luck.

they are 29.99 from kragen auto parts. and 20 from a junkyard.

at least here in sac. might as well buy a new one?

unless u already checked into prices??

but if they are the same plug and same amoount of wire (s) then it should work just fine.

I ran a check at autozone's site and it came up with 8 different choices. My truck doesn't necessarily have a bad one, but the prev owner had it disconnected and the plug was resting against the tailpipe. I picked one up at a wrecking yard just to use its plug, if not the whole thing. I'll hook it up and see how it goes, but I'd like to know a part number that is the right one for my application... all I get at the parts stores is "Well, it's one of these?"

best bet would be to just bring in the old one and match it up. kragen tried to give me a three wire sensor with some totally different mount system and i told them no. and they said well its the only one that shows up. so i took it upon myself to use there computer and look it up myself.

then after i got my correct part, they asked me if i wanted a job.. hahahahah
