Helloo to every one i have a question to every one, this is what happens today

i was driving my 1991 4runner no more than 45 M/H and i push the overdrive button and i notice that the over drive light start blinking but never feel a difference on driving are those codes or something is wrong on my transmission???

also the transmission stick was too hot

Good guess. That does mean a trouble code.

You'll need to determine which model of transmission you have to get specific on what may be wrong, but the codes are rather universal.

After you've determined your trans. model, look through the section for that model under diagnosis system and pull the code.

To determine your model, look on the driver's side door jam where the VIN is. There will be a sequence of numbers and letters looking something like this:

C/TR/A/TM 138 HR11 G282 A130H or C/TR GJ7/KQ41 A/TM G251/R150F

As you can see in either code sequence, there is a TM....meaning transmission. The corresponding numbers/letters for each is A130H on the first and R150F on the second. Yours will be identically labeled.
